CCL Plays Matchmaker for Aquelle
When Aquelle Marine Therapy System from Conair’s Professional Products Division, needed a perfect packaging match for its new Sea Foam Mousse, it charged CCL Container with the task of creating a sea-foam green container that would match the line’s other products, which are packaged in clear plastic tubes. CCL came up with a slim, 45 x 200 mm can with a brushed aluminum finish, which it colored to complement the other products.

Diamond Creates a Jewel of a Carton for L’Oreal USA/Matrix Essentials
Diamond Packaging, Rochester, NY, was chosen by L’Oreal USA/Matrix Essentials to produce the holiday packaging for its line of hair care products. All cartons feature a new .022 holographic foil board and diamond-shaped die cuts, along with transparent PMS inks and UV coating to further enhance the graphics. The result is a carton that is visually appealing and significantly different from anything else on the market.

Eastar Copolyester Tops
Must De Cartier Pour Homme

The standout red cap that tops Must De Cartier for men is crafted of Eastman Chemical Company’s Eastar copolyester.

The cap was molded by MT Packaging, a division of the Techpack Group, in Challes, France. Eastar copolyester performs exceptionally well to achieve a large flat surface in a 32-mm-thick component without sink marks. The copolyester also demonstrated its ability to match an exact translucent color, while bringing chemical resistance and high density to the project.

Unilever Taps Raison Pure for
Vaseline Moisturizing Bath Beads Redesign

When Unilever was looking for a redesign (see packages, left, top, for old packaging, bottom for new designs) that would reflect a more modern, approachable look for the packaging of its Vaseline Intensive Care line of bath products, it assigned the task to Raison Pure International.

The result are colorful packages that invite consumers to try each of the four fragrances. The products’ moisturizing ingredients are also more prominently featured on the package.
